Vernay solid French oak beams are square-sawn from single-origin Burgundy timber and supplied unfinished for structural or feature use in interior applications.
Available in seven substantial cross-sections — from 100×100mm through to 300×300mm — they are air-dried ensuring the stability and performance that premium architectural projects demand.
Whether specified as exposed oak ceiling beams to add warmth and volume to a residential living space, or as robust oak structural beams in a commercial hospitality fit-out, our timber delivers unparalleled stability and visual character.
Unlike reclaimed or faux alternatives, every Vernay beam is cut from single-origin, old-growth French Oak. This ensures a consistent blond tone, tight grain structure, and the honest natural variation expected in luxury architectural timber.
To meet stringent Australian import standards and ensure long-term stability in interior environments, all our solid oak beams for interior use are meticulously air-dried 20% moisture content. We do not supply green timber.
This rigorous drying process guarantees that our French oak feature beams perform flawlessly when acclimatised and installed correctly on site.
(Note: Vernay products are specified for interior applications only).
